what happends with the an515-43 when its out of vram

Earlier I saw that my laptop has 2037 mb of vram left. Now my quetions are 

'1. How long does this last if you play games with medium/high settings
2.How do I save vram
3.If its gets too low can i replace it and how?

    @JOVIBOY1 the game will just have to use all the amount of VRAM available and reduce the performance significantly. It works almost the same as GPU usage. 100% usage meaning that you have used all the GPU power. Meaning that any increasing in game's graphics setting might make the game performance a bit worse. 
    You don't really need to think about saving VRAM although you can do that by lowering the setting. You can always use higher setting if you want to.

    @JOVIBOY1 Generally, your laptop's VRAM is mostly like normal RAM but it is used for graphics. It never goes out or being reduced permanently. Basically, when you increase your game's graphics setting(medium to high for example), the game will use more VRAM. If the setting exceeding the amount of VRAM that the laptop has(5GB over 4GB for example), then the games has to use only 4GB and looks laggy.

    if it uses more vram what happends? I mean, is it like gpu usage? your gpu does not just stop because you have 100% usage 
    Sorry for asking again. So do I save vram if i play at medium settings insted for high?
