I just upgraded my Acer nitro. I replaced the ram with 2 sticks of 16gb and added a SATA 2TB drive.

After installing all I get is a black or very dim blank screen. I unplugged the SATA and everything worked fine so it's not the RAM (which is coming up as 32GB now). Any way to get the SATA working?

Its incredible how many people just don't get it and don't include the exact model numbers of what they are asking? Please tell us what is your Nitro model number and the SATA 2TB drive model and is it an M.2 or a 2.5" drive? We are not magicians here or mind readers=) =) =)

Sorry, I'm quite new to this, I'm fixing up my son's computer. It's a 2.5" and the laptop is a AN515-57

    Hi @CptDevlin,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.
