Trying to access bootable drive (A315-53-578V)

I turned off my laptop during a system restore after it was stuck on “initializing system restore” for a few hours. Now I’m unable to load Windows 10. I used a usb flash drive to load the Windows 10 installation disc. It gave me the option of installing Windows or repairing my computer, so I tried repair first and none of the troubleshooting options worked. When the troubleshooter was closed, my computer shut down. Now I would like to install Windows again using the flash drive but when I turn on my computer, it just stays on the Acer logo screen instead of booting to the USB drive as it did before. How do I access the USB drive to install Windows?

First thing is to get into the BIOS by shutting the laptop down then turning it on and just after and before the Acer logo appears press the F2 key and keep pressing the F2 key until you get into the BIOS, then go to the "Boot Tab" and change the Boot priority order to No 1 = USB HDD then go to Exit and Exit Saving Changes then it should reboot. This should activate the USB boot drive and the Windows installation USB and you should be on your way to a Clean Install of Windows.

Or and if you have the Boot Manager activated this allows you to select the boot device without accessing the BIOS utility. Which is activated by and as follows:

    1. Start the computer
    2. When prompted, press F12 during POST. The Boot Manager screen appears.

    3. Use the ↑ and ↓ keys to highlight a boot device
    4. Press Enter to select and continue with the boot procedure.

NOTE: Boot Manager is available only if the F12 Boot Menu parameter in BIOS Main menu is set to Enabled
