HDD/NVME not detected on boot options and even when I tried to reformat using bootable Acer aspire 5

Hi I've got Acer aspire 5  11th gen i5.

Issue
  • Both hdd and sdd are showing on the bios info tab
  • but not showing on the boot options
  • tried inserting bootable USB
    " we couldn't find any drives. to get a storage driver click load driver

    was able to fix this by restarting the computer
    on bios, I pressed Ctrl + S, new row will be added. 
    Disabled it.

    Hi @cavars013,

    Go to your BIOS (usually by pressing F2 or Delete when your PC is booting). The exact process from here will vary depending on your motherboard. On our ASUS Z97 Pro Gamer board, we went to Advanced > Onboard Devices Configuration > M. 2 PCIe mode and changed the dropdown to 'Enabled'.

    If your drive is not detected it may be because it is turned OFF in System Setup. Some motherboard manufactures disable unused ports in the BIOS by default. You will need to enter the BIOS setup in order to verify their current state.
