I have recently installed a dual boot of ArcoLinux with Plasma, and created a second partition for the Arco installation to make sure I'm not messing with my SSD's data. After this I was unable to get into the BIOS as pressing the keys to boot into it would just "pause" the startup process and freeze on the Acer logo. Removing the USB with the ArcoLinux ISO fixed it, but after booting into Arco the problem continued and I could not get into the BIOS. Again, the startup froze on the Acer logo when I used my BIOS keys. Does anybody know what could be causing this and how to fix it? I use an Acer Aspire 3 A315-56-577F with a Manjaro XFCE and ArcoLinux KDE Plasma dual boot.

Did you uncheck Windows fast startup before trying to install Linux alongside? If you can still boot Windows, try unchecking fast startup in Control Panel's power button app. Then shut down Windows normally. Then turn it back on and immediately start tapping F2 key to enter BIOS menu.
