Laptop crashes aspire v5 z5wv2

Not sure if I'm putting this in the right place but I have an acer aspire v5 z5wv2 and it's been a good work horse over the years but stop using it but decided to get out the cupboard the other day and give it some love. Running windows 8 on a hdd works fine. I changed it to an ssd with a fresh install of Windows 10 but keep crashing. I decided to try windows 8 on the ssd and it's fine and out of curiosity I installed windows 10 on the hdd and its works fine. Dose any one know why its crashing with windows 10 on a ssd. Also updated bios and changed to uefi and back again and also tried new ram. No matter what I do windows 10 is unable or can't get past installation setup. Thanks.
