Hi, my laptop comes with 1 x 8 GB RAM module and I would like to add another 1 x 8 GB module. The RAM module in my laptop is a Micron MT4ATF1G64HZ-3G2B2. The problem I am having now is finding the RAM module that is 100% same as my existing one. The nearest options I can find are MT4ATF1G64HZ-3G2E2 and MT4ATF1G64HZ-3G2J2. The difference is only the die revision. Not sure how things can differ based on that.

1. Which one is the most suitable for my laptop?
2. Any possible problems or implications of using either 1 of them?
3. Would it be better if I just get 2 x 8 GB RAM module that are 100% the same?

    Hello!!

    samz_fisher,

Below is the complete information about RAM module for your Acer Nitro unit.

I hope you can get hold of any one of the above listed compatible Memory module. If unfortunately, could not get any one, then go for RAM module matching technical specs provided and that should work.

    Hello Balatekie,

    Thanks for the useful information.

I was probably not clear on what I want to achieve. Based on list of compatible memory modules

    1. Can I mix my current/existing 1 x 8 GB Micron MT4ATF1G64HZ-3G2B2 with a new 1 x 8 GB Micron MT4ATF1G64HZ-3G2E2?
    2. Any possible problems or implications of mixing 3G2B2 and 3G2E2
    3. Would it be better if I just get a set of new compatible modules (kit) that are 100% the same?
