When I plugin my charger, the orange light turns on, most of the time it is ON, but some time it flickers, sometimes it blink but my laptop is not charging in any case and I am unable to start my laptop. I am not sure if it is problem with charger or battery. How can I solve this issue?

I saw some answers on some other Community posts where it was mentioned that the switch interlock button on main board may not be getting pressed by back cover so I opened my RAM panel. I am unable to find that switch.

Update, somehow my laptop started but it is not charging. The status shows 0% available (plugged in).
I have tried resetting the battery and reinstalling the ACPI drivers

Samarth9201  check your battery wear with hwinfo or battery bar pro and report back you might have a faulty battery if over 20% wear you need to replace it asap and never use it on battery always on AC only use it on battery on emergency and really light works the battery was not designed for high loads and will get faulty really fast its main purpose its to serve as a powerbank to provide the adapter with more extra power when this one cant provide enough to the cpu/dgpu on high demanding works/gaming also if the battery wear its fine check your adapter with a voltmeter to see if its outputting the correct voltage good luck :)

No, I used the same Charger. I think it is a Battery issue.

I didn't get a chance to run hwinfo, however I guess the battery is faulty, because I charged laptop to 100%, and after I restarted it in few minutes, the battery was completely drained and my laptop after some time would not start again.

I am not sure how to test my charger because while using multimeter, the charging pin was too narrow for the multimeter probes (Because of that pink/purple cap on the charger pin).

Also, if battery is to be replaced, where can I get the original battery?
