Hi,
My Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53 recently stopped working, almost completely. It showed the Acer Logo but never booted up. In protest, I reset the computer’s battery (where the small hole is) and upon turning it on again, the Acer Logo disappeared…. All it does is just beep to the charger plugging in and thats it. I couldn’t find a fix for about a month and I think its time to post here. Any help works, please and thank you.

P.S. before the computer stopped working, my PC blue screened while trying to run a game on a hard drive I was optimizing. I don’t remember the error code. Then, after that, I ran ROBLOX and it froze mid way into playing. Sound still played through my headphones and it still appeared on my monitor but it was on a still, frozen image. The cursor was not movable. My specs for the laptop is a 1050ti, Core i5. This type of thing happened a few months back, too, but I suspect it was a different error from this time. At the time, me and a sibling fixed it by reinstalling a bootable version of Windows 10.

Do and follow this guide of “How to Calibrate Your Laptop Battery” and see if this helps to rejuvenate your battery and fixes your problem, if it does not then check your charger adaptor, your AN515-53 with the 1050Ti GPU comes wit a 135W at 19V, check this adaptor if its charging properly? Your battery is a 15.2V and has a Pack capacity of 3220 mAh, check if the battery holds its charge and its not faulty. Otherwise and if these problems persist then have your AN515-53 checked by a technician as power and charging related problems are complex and need to be diagnosed with specialised tools to pinpoint where the circuitry problem(s) are and need replacing. Also, the BSOD blue screen could result from numerous problems and is in the event of a fatal system error. It indicates a system crash, in which the operating system has reached a critical condition where it can no longer operate safely, e.g., hardware failure or a unexpected termination of a crucial process and it could be because of the problem(s) that you are having.
