Hi,
My Acer Asprire 5 (Model N20C4) has died after the latest windows updates.
I've tried to recover but had no luck so want to go for a full W10 clean install.
However, when I boot from the USB there are no drives displayed to install onto. Do I need a driver for the Samsung MZVLQ128HBHQ so the I can reinstall onto this disk?

Press and hold the power button till the machne shuts off. Then turn it back on and immediately tap the F2 key to enter the BIOS menu. In the BIOS Information tab, do you see the Samsung card or any HDD0 or HDD1 identified?

Yes - the NVME is detected in the BIOS. If I boot to Hirens WinPE the drive is visible and I've been able to recover my data.
It's just when W10 install boots up there are no drives visible onto which the OS can be installed.
It reminded me of when trying to install WinXP on a RIAD system years ago where you have to provide drivers for the installer to see this disc.

Could be exactly that (well RST / VMD) , where you need to include a driver for it to seeit. I can't see that model number though, is there one like a515-zzzz?

Could you please post a phone phone of your BIOS Information tab?
