So are you telling me there is no way to:
a) Set the battery loading limit (like 60%/80%/100%) to protect the battery when using the power supply?
b) Set the Battery Charge rate?
c) Set ANY kind of fanspeed / profile whatsoever?
d) get Nvidia Whisper mode running?
e) Disable the integrated graphics?

The Acer Care Center basically doesn't do anything.

I'm asking for a friend.

    1. Nope.
    2. Nope.
    3. Only selectable fan profile with Fn + F (lowest, medium, highest)
    4. Don't know, if I remember it's advertised on GTX1000 series, don't know for 3000 series.
    5. Nope.

Acer Care Center is for checking driver updates.

    THANK YOU for Number 3!
I didn't find that! It explains alot and boosts the GPU performance by 10% and more to use turbo mode.
GPU Clock went from 1050/1200 to 1200/1420.

Also my model number is SFX14-41G-R1YX.

AND the display has the WORST backlight bleeding in the upper right corner.
I`ve never seen something like this, even on the cheapest laptop.
This looks like a production error to be honest. Can anybody confirm this on their models, or is it just mine?
(the attached picture is NOT exaggerating).
Thightening this area with my fingers reduces it alot. Releasing the pressure: and the bleeding is back.

The CPU throttling is also massive... 3,6 Ghz should be the allcore turbo.
In most games I get between 2300! and 2700 Mhz. The 90W PSU drawing 66W from the wall. CPU temp at 62-64 °C.

    ACER. Whats going on there?

You're welcome, I actually also solve my own question (different thread) with the fn+F, to some degree. The CPU throttling is massive on my system as well, but again, it's an ultraportable so I'm okay with the fact. Just put the fan profile at max setting and use notebook cooler if you want to game for long session.

Regarding the light bleed, can't say much, I also bought Acer Swift (forgot the model name) earlier this year and had to resell it within days because I noticed a ticking sound from the fan which Acer service center consider as normal. Thing is, I have another Acer Swift model my wife use, and it has no ticking sound. Well... Anyway, no mass produced product will be 100% perfect, the light bleed probably also apparent on pitch dark room with dark background as well. Not want to side with Acer here, but 20+ years in the IT industry as practitioner, and now observer, taught me to live and let go.

The light bleed is massive. It's visible in a bright room if the screen content is dark.
I'm usually not picky when it comes to such, but this is basically an issue.
Not keeping the unit anyway. It's for reviewing.
