Installing M.2 SSD to a laptop usually is the matter of taking out the screws at the bottom of the laptop, remove the bottom, unplug battery, unscrew the 3mm screw at the M.2 slot, insert the M.2 SSD, put the 3mm in to hold the M.2 SSD in place, plug back in the battery and put back the bottom.

You can go to Acer Support Videos under the Assistance by Acer at the right pane here and type in Aspire 7 A715-71G at the search field there. There should be some videos on how to add hardware and take down of the laptop. Those videos may not be the same model as your laptop, but some models may be very close to yours and good enough to give you the knowledge of how to do it.

There are at least two ways to migrate Windows to the new M.2 SSD:

    1) Using Windows 10 Create System Image Method:

Have an extra internal HDD/SSD or USB external drive ready. Control Panel->System and Security->Backup and Restore (Windows 7)-> Left pane, select Create system Image. The target drive is the extra drive. This process will take a while.

Disconnect old HDD/SSD and then connect the extra HDD/SSD and the new M.2 SSD.
When bootup, hold down both Fn+ALT keys and keep tapping the F10 key until you see the Restore Menu.
Troubleshoot->Advanced Options->System Image Recovery, read from the image file previously stored and restore it to the new M.2 SSD

When done, shut down, remove the extra HDD/SSD and leave only the new M.2 SSD as boot drive. Should be able to boot normally.

    2) Using cloning software: Make sure the cloning software is in the original boot drive.
Assuming you are currently using another HDD/SSD as the boot drive from the M.2 SSD to be added.

Run the cloning software (such as Macrium Reflect, Acronis...etc.) clone from the boot drive to the new M.2 SSD

Disconnect old drive and put in new M.2 SSD and boot
