No matter which game I play, after every 10 mins my laptop losses 1% of the battery. Then I exit the game and let it charge and then the cycle repeats itself. Anyone facing the same issue, and any resolution?

    Hello!!

    khuranan744

    The factory provided power adaptor may not be good enough to provide needed power. The bottom line is most likely that the system isn’t getting enough juice, it could because the adaptor is under powered or defective.

    Also in other hand, I want you to be sure you’re cooling ports are clear, clean them if it’s an old laptop, go on YouTube to see how that’s done safely.

    If the ports are already clear, make sure the laptop is slightly elevated off the table while you’re gaming, allowing the cooling apparatus more efficiency, which might help them run for shorter periods of time.

    @Balatekie I just bought this laptop, barely days old! Why would Acer manufacture a product which would need additional power even when on charge? The charger is 185W! Thats a lot of juice for a machine.

    @Easwar its AN515-45-R3TC. Nitro 5 with Ryzen 5 5600H and Nvidia 3060.
