print screen on Acer Aspire S7 not working

On my Acer Aspire S7, I used to be able to press the Function key (Fn) and the Print Screen key (PrtSc) to do a keyboard-based print screen.  Now it won't work.

I have also tried using the Windows Logo key + PrtSc key, but it won't do a print screen.  I am running Windows 10 64-bit operating system and have updated all my Windows updates.  Microsoft tech support says it's a hardware issue.

I am able to use Windows' Snipping Tool to do a print screen but prefer using keyboard only.  I welcome tips on how to do a keyboard-based print screen.

You can go to setting, accessibility, keyboard, enable use the print screen to open screen snipping. That way, you can use the snipping tool by pressing PrtScn once.

I think Win10 uses WIN+FN+PrSc for S7 laptops due to BIOS FN key limitations.
