Hi all im trying to upgrade my current memory ram and ssd but i am stuck as far as which do i need to get for my lap top. I visited crucial website and they recommend me a few based on what the scan said but I want to make sure that i get the right one. I want to purchase 2 16gbs of DRAM heres the link of that one. >> https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k16g4sfd8266/ct15296162

The crucial scanner is usually pretty good. A matched pair RAM kit like the one recommended should be fine. The m.2 cards are fine but a bit overkill/expensive since your mainboard is PCIe v3 2 lanes so at about 3X SATA speeds can't take any where near the full advantage 10X SATA speeds of a PCIe v4 NVME card.

Hi JackE thanks for your quick answer. So as far as the M.2 cards which one do you recommend me get instead? Im not too tech savy so don't know any better. Heres the link to all the ones provided to me by crucial https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/acer/aspire-a515-43-r19l

PS i forgot to mention my laptop is an acer aspire a515-43-r19l

Yes, thanks, the crucial scan results that you posted earlier also listed your model number. I'm sorta partial to the WD blue m.2 series. While your mainboard still can't take full advantage of the WD blues, the 1TB  WD 550 PCIe v3 series is a much better practical match to your laptop's capabilities.

OK perfect. Ill definitely look into this one. as far as the SSD is concern I was given a few screws for HDD upgrade by Acer when I got my laptop. If i were to upgrade that HDD can i get this one here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TNQXQ6N/ref=dp_cerb_3

or would the Western Digital be enough? Also is possible to have the DRAM, Western Digital and the HDD I just listed all installed at once?

I want to be sure i dont waste $$ if I dont really need to. Sorry for too many questions again not tech savy enough for this.
