My year old Acer Nitro AN515-54 keeps blue screening (Only A Year Old!!!)

So my lil laptop Nitro AN515-54, which is a decent gaming laptop -a year ago- but is strictly used for school,  likes to give me the " blue screen of death" and I end up uninstalling then reinstalling windows just to get the computer function.  As you may be able to to tell from my ignorant description of my problem, I need the basic response to help me understand.  I do understand that the devices I use with the laptop(mouse and light up mouse pad) can effect things and I troubleshot those items.  I manipulated start up processes, I restored from a later version which still produced the blue screen. I would like to learn how to fix this so every six months I don't have to reset all my google settings and passwords. Why do I get the blue screen?  I do use Word 2007 which my husband installed on my computer which I use regularly for school and I do not pay Microsoft.

    Hi @MarlaPosey
check if there is a pin 📌hole at the bottom of the unit. Put a small pin inside and press and hold the pin for 30sec.  If there is no pin hole then press the power button for 12sec. Remember to remove your charger when you do that.

    MarlaPosey,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.
