Hello!

My A515-51G-5067 not detecting headphones for last few days. Headphones, microphones and are all working fine. So I assume the issue with my laptop.
Tried update the driver, uninstall and re-install the driver, factory resets and even updating to windows 11 is not helping. I don't think it's a hardware problem since even other methods like connecting to Type-C or USB ports with adapters are same (but I don't really know if it's supposed to works with those ways).

It started with both headphones and laptop speakers are working at the same time while headphones are plugged in. But after reboot It's only laptop speaker. No headphones are detected.

Since driver update didn't work I tried few other drivers too (including from this site for my laptop model). Still made no progress. What should I do ?

I think I started this topic at wrong place since I'm kinda new to this site. And they're not letting me correct or edit it for next few minutes. So sorry for that.

Press the windows key and r - type msconfig
On the services tab - check hide all microsoft services
Disable and enable all the services  -  click on disable all and enable all after checking the box - hide all microsoft services
chose normal startup on the general tab
click on apply - ok and restart

    It should work fine

If it is not working ...

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

    Try windows x
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin
    type rstrui
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fine
    click on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..

Try and check whether it is working now ..

    Try windows x
Go to device manager - Go to sound video and game controllers.  Expand it
Uninstall the sound driver from device manager.  Please uninstall all the items below the sound video and game controllers.
Restart the computer.  It should work fine..

If it is still not working
Uninstall the sound driver from device manager
    Dont restart the computer.
    Go to support.acer.com
    chose your country
type snid or chose your model
    go to drivers
    Install the sound driver

I've asked the moderator to move you to the appropriate section. Go into Device Manager and make sure both the Intel SST and RealTek devices are showing good.

    Thanks for responding.

I did everything as you said but unfortunately it still makes no difference. And I already tried those links before ask for help here but thanks anyway.

I can't really tell if the problem is in software or the headphone jack itself since other ports are not helping too. And I already did factory reset twice.
First time was re-install windows and second time I erased everything but still not working. The thing is I can't tell what the problem is and it's just so frustrating.
