    hi 
    I want to install Samsung 980 500GB nvme M.2 SSD on my laptop. but I don't know that my laptop is having nvme m.2 slot or not. it will support my laptop or not 
    I m really confused about what to do.

    Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52-59FD
    1TB HARD disk
    i5 core 8 gen

    You can use gen 3 x2 NVMe SSD for optimal speed. Since it is not easy to get x2 NVMe SSD in retail market now, using a typical x4 NVMe SSD will be fine, but running at half the speed (1,700 MB/s).
