Please help!! Acer comes on the screen and the little wheel turns for about 30 seconds,  then nothing.   I've tried reboot, the paper clip in the battery hole, and nothing.  I'm so upset! Please help!

Press and hold the power button till the laptop shuts off. Unplug the charger. Re-do the paperclip in the pinhole for about a minute. Plug the charger back in but wait for the battery charge LED to turn from steady orange to steady blue. Then turn the machine on and immediately tap the F2 key to enter the BIOS menu. Press F9 to load BIOS defaults. Then press F10 to save defaults and exit. Windows should then boot.

Thank you JackE.....I did what you said but did I do it correctly.   When pressing f2 should I have a window open because it does not.   I'm  so upset, as I said, this machine is is only a few months old.

Press and hold power button again till the laptop shuts off. About 5-6 seconds. Then press and hold the F2 key. Then while still holding the F2 key, turn the machine on. The BIOS menu should appear.

    Tyna66,

Are you getting any light indication when charger is connected.
