Hey Guys,

I have the Predator Helios 300 - I can provide all the specs if needed  (see below for specs and example pictures).
I am on my second one. The first one made this extremely high pitch dog whistle that would not stop. Called support, they said to ship it in for repair, I just returned it.
Now I just received my second laptop in the mail a couple weeks ago and now have a different issue.

My LCD screen has spots on the Monitor - If my screen is black they show up as green circles (see pictures). I did research and all I could find that is my video card could "possibly" be not fully connected to or my monitor is messed up all together. The color does not change and it shows up in everything I show on my screen. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nfx5f6v8nzxa5nm/AACsqX_2xqoYj_F8zvEh3H7pa?dl=0
I added dropbox photos so you can see. I will also call customer support but I was hoping for a quick fix.

We need to determine whether it is a hardware or software issue.

Tap f2 while turning on the computer.    It will go to bios.   If the display looks good on the bios then it is a software issue otherwise it is a hardware issue.

If it is a software issue on the computer then follow the steps given below:

    Try windows x
    go to device manager
    expand display adapter
right click on display driver - uninstall
    Restart the computer

    It should work fine..

If it is still not working
Uninstall the display adapter from device manager
    Dont restart the computer.
    Go to support.acer.com
    chose your country
type snid or chose your model
    go to drivers
    Install the display driver

If it is a hardware issue then you  can contact the warranty dept.     Go to the website support.acer.com - chose your country.   On the new page - scroll down -  click on "contact support".  Scroll down.  You can find the phone no to contact the warranty dept.
