Hi everybody. I hope you can help me with my issue.
I bought a kingston a400 480GB SSD yo replace the HDD 1tb intalled by default in my laptop. Well, I just installed and noticed performance issues, my laptop's actually working worse than it used to do with the previous HDD.
I tested the SSD in another PC and it went right true the test and running the system so I don't believe the problem is caused by the SSD in bad shpe or something.

Hi, is the new SSD clone from the HDD? Or it is a fresh format SSD?

Kingston A400 is a perfect SSD - cheap and reliable. Unfortunately it is not compatible with some Acer laptops. I have had issues on an old Aspire 5742g - the SSD has not been discovered on 1/5 boot attempts. The issue has been resolved by installing an SSD of another brand. The undiscoverable A400also works great on a different laptop.

Then try a different brand SSD such as WD Blue, which is known to be pretty trouble free.
If you can return the Kingston SSD, do it, otherwise, save it for another PC.
