Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and recently buy the unit I just notice it doesn't have HDD, what I have got now is SSD 256GB only. I recently check its user manual that it has an internal HDD cage and it can fit an 3.5 inch SATA hard drive but I never check it if it has one. Is there any HDD you can recommend and its compatible for this unit? preferably 1TB is good enough for me.

Thanks.

Any HDDs or SSDs that support SATA interface will work fine. Stay away from things like SAS that are designed for servers. You should have enough SATA power connectors from the PSU and will only need a SATA data cable to run between the motherboard and drive. You can also use 2.5" drives with an adapter to hold it physically.

Wow thanks for the quick reply, it happens that the unit package have 2 SATA (6G Cable - 26AWG AWM) cable included I think this was for the HDD that is included to the upgraded version of this unit. btw correction its 3.5" drive holder and its good to know that there will no compatibility issue buying HDD's.

Yes, the drive bays are designed for a 3.5", that's why you need an adapter to install 2.5" instead.
