Good morning.  I am working at a school as tech support and I have chromebook noticed a large influx of students coming in with devices that have dropped wifi and will not pick it back up.  There is no pattern, no specific area, no specific grade, no specific device.  We have confirmed that our network is not the issue.   Is there anyone that can please help?  Thank you for your time!

Check which OS version is installed, Google may have tweaked something breaking the WiFi drivers. You might also test by doing some power washes, in case it's caused by corrupted data.

In my district, we have this happen on over a dozen machines. We are simply replacing the wifi cards on the 721 and 752 models. I have not noticed this issue on any 738 models or before. Only 721 and 752s so far.

It looks like the C721 and R721 models both use the same Lite-On WiFi/Bluetooth card. The R752 models use an Intel card. Am I guessing your models wrong?
