Hello

I have Nitro AN517-53.

I am trying to turn on the PC at a specific time. I could not find the respective power options in BIOS, like other laptops. Is it under a different title?

Having failed in that I have tried to wake the laptop from sleep. Task Scheduler and bat files. Again, unsuccessful. Some post suggests "Allow wakeup timers" under Sleep settings in Power options. But it is not there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

    Set Up Auto-Restart
    1. Open your computer's BIOS settings menu. ...
    2. Look for the Setup function key description. ...
    3. Look for the Power Settings menu item within the BIOS and change the AC Power Recovery or similar setting to "On." Look for a power-based setting that affirms that the PC will restart when power becomes available.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately there is no one single mention of Power in BIOS. I have enabled all Wake-Up options.

BIOS version is 1.0 . Product support page https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/support-product/8861?b=1&pn=NH.QBKEK.005 shows that there is 1.06 Not sure what TPM is in the recent version.

    Would updating BIOS help it?

    Thank you

Have the same issue here, It looks like Acer Nitro series's BIOS is not supporting auto wake-up when power plugged
