Have a Swift 3 SF315-41 that I bought in 2017. By 2018 the last driver updates were released by Acer for this product. You support your Laptops with drivers for a year and then call it quits??

Biggest issue I have are display drivers and fan speed control.

The fan barely ramps up, maybe to 40% or so Max, but that's it. When doing work the CPU is at 75 degrees constantly. Forget about playing any kind of games now like I used to before. This is unacceptable.
I've used Notebook FanSpeed for a while, but it stopped working as well. Regardless, having to download a third party program just to get the laptop to cool properly because the manufacturer refuses to supply its users with up to date drivers is RIDICULOUS!

I'm sorry, but, I'll probably never buy another acer product ever again. Which is a shame, because I actually, otherwise, really like the laptop. But castrating the machine like this is likened to Apple throttling its phones to make you buy a new one.

Actually, 75C is close to the ideal temperature for a CPU at full utilization, the fan profiles are there to try and hold that temperature for full usage and drop to around 50C for idle. That makes me think your fan is working as it should. Drivers are normally updated as part of your Windows update. The drivers on the support page are typically a snapshot of the software released with the laptop. Your SF315-41 system uses an AMD chipset, have you checked with their drivers to see if they are newer than what Windows gives you?

No, that's not how it works, at all.
