    suayp01,

Yes, you can plug in all the time.

Improve Battery Life in Your Windows 10 Laptop
    1. Change the Power Mode.
    2. Reduce Screen Brightness.
    3. Turn on 'Battery Saver'
    4. Detect and Disable Battery-draining Apps.
    5. Disable Background Apps to Improve Battery Life.
    6. Change Power and Sleep Settings.
    7. Disable UI Animations and Shadows.
    8. Turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use.

No, So far wide range of user don't have this issue. If it happens to you it may be a hardware issue.

I've got the same problem. I'm not sure if it was the update to Windows 11 or what. I think I'm going to go back to Windows 10. Turning off everything and going to Battery Saver mode, etc. is NOT helping. One to 1.5 hours battery time just web browsing is unacceptable. Acer, any comment?

I had allowed the upgrade from Windows 10 to 11. I've noticed the "System" process was constantly running at about 10%. I tried BIOS updates and driver updates to no avail. I just did the "Reset this PC" to allow Windows 11 to reinstall. I'm all good now and the battery life is MUCH better...also the fans aren't spinning like a helicopter all the time either. I think the upgrade process from 10 to 11 doesn't do something right as my son had similar issues on an Acer Nitro 515-54 as well.
