I just bought the Swift 3 from my regional retailer and they specified in their product's page that it features keyboard backlighting, but when it arrived I kept trying to enable backlighting but to nothing worked yet. Any suggestions will be appreciated

Some configurations of the SF314-59 have keyboard backlighting, others do not. If your F8 key has no symbol, that suggests your model has no backlight. You could try checking the BIOS (repeatedly tap the F2 key after you first turn it on) to see if the BIOS has any backlight settings. Try changing the settings to see it that makes a difference. However, if the backlight circuitry isn't there, changing BIOS settings won't do anything.

Assuming you want it & it's been sold to you on the basis of having the keyboard backlight, you should return it to the supplier & ask for a replacement with backlighting. It may cost a little more though.

    Hi @Swifterrs
check if there is a pin 📌hole at the bottom of the unit. Put a small pin inside and press and hold the pin for 30sec.  If there is no pin hole then press the power button for 12sec. Remember to remove your charger when you do that.
