Can Nitro 5 AN-515 support 144mhz ouput to gaming monitor ?

Just bought Nitro 5 and hook up my Xioami curve 34 gaming monitor via HDMI. However in graphic setting it only show 100 mhz. Can this laptop connect up to 144mhz ?

Whats the full model number ? And whats the res of the monitor? I have a feeling the laptop will be HDMI 2.0, which would mean the Maximum resolution to get 144 HZ would be 2560 × 1440. If your montior is 3440 × 1440 then the max refresh rate would be 100hz

To directly answer to your question it is "NO". Nitro unit does not provide external display at 144Mz. 

I would like to know the exact model # of your computer. Example.. AN515-52-72W6. So that I can confirm your query.

This my exact model an515-45-R7QR . Instead of spending money to change cable.... hdmi to dp or TB to DP is better to confirm the laptop specification.

I can set 144mhz at 1080p but when i move to 1440p my option only limited to 100mhz.

Thanks for your response. I am sorry to inform that output resolution cannot be obtained at 144Hz in your device and as you stated it is limited to 100Hz.

Thanks for the fast response. At least i know this is hardware limitation and not keep spending to try converter.... high end cable.. or so on.
