Hi, I bought the new Acer Predator Helios 300 (16GB RAM, RTX 3060, i7 11gen) and I just found out when I disconnect the charger while playing videos on youtube the videos freeze for a moment.
Any help?

It could be the laptop just downshifting the power 🤔 is it only for a sec? Have a look In task manager to see if it's moving the video decode from the dedicated gpu back to the Intel to save power

ericramirez its normal its switching between performance mode and power saving mode the dgpu will auto swap to the igpu to save power i wouldnt use the laptop on battery at all only if you really need to in emergency otherwise use it on AC always you would damage your battery as the battery will degrade much faster if you start to use it on battery all the time to the point the battery wear will be so high that the cells wont hold charge anymore and youll need to replace it as the laptop will not perform without a good working battery the main purpose of the battery its to aid the adapter with more power when this one cant provide enough to the cpu/dgpu gaming laptops werent designed to be used on battery they draw too much power to be used on battery only i hope this will explain the issue youre having also as i said no one can solve that its just normal and it is what it is  :)

Don't play long HD Videos or heavy games without an adapter with your laptop model and don't use High Performance but Balanced Power plan otherwise the system will overheat, GPUs will reduce fps and CPUs will be throttled, BSOD/freezing may be the result.
