My Acer Nitro 5 keep crashing . At 1st, I thought it was due to the game ( Dota 2) when it keep crashing while i was trying to update the latest versions but then it crashed as no apps were running. Later, it even crashed when i was entering my pin. It happened 5 times in a row so I decided to reset my windows and it was back to normal until later that day, it happened again. I noticed that whenever crashing occured, it will be disconnected from the network.
What should i do, I just bought it early this year and didn't fully know about this field, I was in quarantine so i couldn't brought it to care centre. :anguished:

I understand that you already reset your windows.     There are three options while doing a reset.

    1.  Keep my files
    2.  Remove everything - just remove files
    3.  Remove everything - fully clean the drive

I suggest you to try all the steps..

    Step 1

You  can always  do a refresh and reset.   These are steps to do the refresh and reset ..

click on start - settings - update and security - recovery - reset this pc - get started

    or

on start - type here to search - type reset this pc - click on reset this pc on the top  - click on get started

It will show you keep my files and remove every thing

    chose keep my files
chose the account - type the password - click on local reinstall - click on reset
    It will be in progress..
login to computer and start using the computer.

If it is still not working try the step 2

    Step 2

click on start - settings - update and security - recovery - reset this pc - get started
    chose remove everything
click on local reinstall - just remove my files - click on reset  - It will be in progress

If you do refresh ( keep my files ) -  all your personal files like pictures, music , documents , videos  will still be intact.   Only the applications will be lost

If you do reset  ( remove everything )  - you are doing a factory default.   It will become like a day one computer.    It will wipe out everything and take your computer to day one like a new computer.

If it is still not working please try the step 3

    Step 3

click on start - settings - update and security - recovery - reset this pc - get started
    chose remove everything
click on local reinstall - Fully clean the drive - click on reset  - It will be in progress

It it is still not working please try the step 4

You can also try the step 1, step 2 and step 3 by using alt + f10  or alt gr + f10  while starting the computer.    It will go to chose an option, continue , use a device , troubleshoot.     You can click on troubleshoot - Reset this pc -  to run the keep my files, just remove my files or fully clean the drive.

    Turn off the computer..
Try alt + f10 or alt gr + f10  or alt car + f10 while turning on the computer
It will show you - chose an option, continue , troubleshoot
    Go to troubleshoot
It will show you reset this pc - advanced options
click on reset this pc - it will show you keep my files and remove everything.

    Step 4

If you contact Acer you can get the recovery media which is designed for your computer or else you can download windows 10 from another working computer using a 8 gb blank usb flash drive.

    Try this method..

    On a different working computer.

    Go to the website
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10
Below the info Create Windows 10 installation media
    click on download tool now..
It will download the windows media creation tool  - click on media creation file on the lower left corner.
Insert a blank 8 gb flash drive
it will download and install the windows 10 on the blank flash drive..

Now insert the flash drive on the broken computer
    Boot it using flash drive..
    click on install
    chose custom
on where do you want to install windows screen - remove all the partitions
It will become like one single unallocated space
There is no need to format it..
    chose the unallocated space
    click on next
It will install the operating system.

    Hi JoeK086,

Is there any anti-virus software installed in the system.
