Hi,
I'm struggling to make the dual boot Windows / Ubuntu 18.04 working on the above mentioned Acer laptop.
What I've done so long:
- Disabled fastboot.
- Disabled secure boot.
- Shrank the partition on windows to have an empty partition for Ubuntu 18.04.
- Tried to set the flag "nvme_loads=YES" before running install from the live USB.
- Enable windows safe mode with "bcdedit /set {current} safeboot minimal".
- Updated the bios from V1.06 to V1.08.
- Check the hidden options in the BIOS main tab with "ctrl + s" but not Sata options appeared.
- Installed Ubuntu 20.04 to check if it was working and it was but I need Ubuntu 18.04 for Jetpack SDK Manager 4.6 because it's not installable on Ubuntu 20.04.
So in short my problem is that I can't make the dual boot work because Ubuntu 18.04 doesn't recognize the SSD when running the installation and I don't have the option in the BIOS to switch from RAID to AHCI.
Does anyone have an idea how to go further in solving the problem ?
Sincerely
