Does the Aspire A515-56-363p support: 

Western Digital WD Green m.2 SSD, 545MB/s R, 3 Y Warranty, 240GB (WDS240G2G0B)?

My laptop is 

Acer Aspire 5 Intel Core i3 11th Generation 15.6" (39.62 cms) - (4 GB/1 TB HDD/Microsoft Office/Windows 10 Home/Intel UHD Graphics /1.65Kg/Silver) A515-5

    Yes, it should work OK. However, it does tend to run hotter and not as reliable as the WD blue series which are slightly more expensive. In fact, the blue 500GB WDS500G2B0B is only a bit more expensive than the green 240GB WDS240G2G0B

    Wrong answer:  
    Acer laptop is configured only NVMe M.2 SSD. 
    The above link is not NVMe.

    It can use either a B+M keyslot m.2 SATA card or an M-keyslot m.2 nvme card since it has a single M-key socket. The B keyslot in the SATA3 card does NOT interfere with the pins in an M-key socket. In other words, an M-key NVME socket is backward compatible with a B+M keyslot card.
