Hi, i was stressing my laptop acer v3-771 cpu using cpu z and it locked me out. Now when i want to login in again it first hangs on acer log and doesn't load the hard disk nor allow me to enter the bios until i press keys on my keyboard, then it will load windows, but then it just chooses any account on my laptop and takes me to its login screen. now it simply switches off its keyboard and then i have to load external keyboard. then it will keep pressing itself. sometimes it doesn't allow me in totally. when i am able to get in, whatever program i open, it will open it over 10 times, when i open any text editor, it will write in letters, right click wont work, but sometimes all will work,, its like computer went mad. i reinstalled windows but still the same problem. I removed the hard disk to test if its hard disk then power on without it but i still cant go to bios, it just brings a black screen with a down score in the left corner. sometimes it will bring a blinking screen. Even i connect charger it will sometimes show, sometimes the light wont show. So the problem is not windows or hard disk. . i connected external monitor, I removed the cmos battery for even 1 hour but still the same, i removed all connections and held the power on button for over 4 minutes no help. i tried to load bios but i have the latest from acer and cant go back. How can i fix this. It all started with cpuz..  ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED (PLEASE NOTE: THIS PROBLEM FIRST CAME 2 MONTHS BACK WHEN I WAS USING CPU Z. BUT IT DISAPPEARED IN 1 WEEK ON ITS OWN, NOW IT HAS APPEARED AGAIN WHEN I PERFOMED A SYSTEM RESTORE 2 DAYS BACK)

    Hi Matte42,

    Try to do power drain,

    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Unplug the charger.
    3. At the bottom there will be a tiny pin hole with battery sign close to it take a pin or paper clip and insert into it hold that button for 20-30 seconds. Then turn ON the unit and check.

Thank you but my laptop has no pinhole, i think because its battery is not sealed inside.  I even removed the battery and nothing is changing
