My Acer Aspire a315-32 battery recently went flat in May and I bought a new one this month. Then unfortunately when powered on, it said no bootable device. After turning it on and off for days to see if anything would change my laptop then said “critical low battery” and died so I charged it and now it won’t turn on but only blinks a blue light 5 times? I also couldn’t charge it when it was on BIOS. The battery is perfectly fine btw. What’s wrong & what do I do?!?!?! Help please.

If resetting the battery and you have replaced the old battery with the correct OEM battery type does not work then see this guide "How to fix "No Bootable Device" issue on computer?"

    1. Did you get the correct OEM battery for this laptop? Below is the correct part and type battery:

    2. Do a "Battery Reset" by using the "Emergency reset hole" as in caption below:

    3. See Indicators
