Acer Chromebook Spin 713 Charging Issues

I've had my Chromebook since Mother's Day.  It used to charge fine when off, but it no longer will charge when powered down.  The light is on showing it's charging, but when I turn it on the next day, the battery level is at the same percentage it was before charging.  Have tried charging in two different spots around the house overnight and get the same issue.  It only charges when it's on.  I have also tried using both USB C ports for charging - always the same outcome of it not actually charging.  Battery life currently at 11% and calculating... and it never seems to say how much time I have left.  Seems to stay at 11% after 20-30 minutes of use while it's supposedly charging.  Time to take it back to the store where I got it or to contact Acer directly?

Try a hard reset. Hold the refresh and power button for 5 sec and post that test if the unit is charging and share the update

Which model do you have? It's likely something like CP713-xxx-xxxx. It sounds like the OS is getting confused about battery status.
