Power button not working Aspire 895

Hello, I have a brand new Aspire 895 and it suddenly switched off. The blue led on the LAN-socket still flashes, but the power button doesn’t react to anything (even if I press it for 20 seconds and more). What could be the problem?

Unplug everything from your USB jacks including the keyboard and mouse.

I'm sorry as that's all that I know to do except ohm meter the switch itself BUT since it is new, I wouldn't tamper with it. Call your vendor and or Acer support.

I'm assuming that your AC is plugged in and you have checked the cord with a meter or by subbing. Some Television Cord's  are a good sub., some are not. Good Luck

What is the model number of your Acer? It might be TC-895-xxxx, XC-895-xxxx or something else with an 895 in it. :)
