I bought my pc and wanted a ram upgrade from 4x2 2666mhz to 8x2 2666mhz but when i put the ram in the pc it ran at 2133mhz i looked up a video on how to fix this and it said to overclock the ram in the bios. However the bios of the P03-600 does not have the XMP option.

First, what are the exact specs of the new RAM that you installed? Get CPUz to see these specs as the recommended Acer RAM for your PO3-600 is the following and no overclocked memory is suitable for this computer. Dual channel is only enabled when there is either 2x or 4x of the same spec modules installed that is why its best to either buy a 2x or 4x kit of either DDR4-2400MHz or DDR4-2666Mhz type RAM for your PO3-600 as is describe below:

Many XMP models are marketed at speeds only achievable when overclocked. They typically have a base speed of 2133MHz and would act exactly as yours is. Buy real 2666MHz memory instead of the XMP memory.
