Windows 11, Connecting dual monitors via USBC results in flickering of second monitor Aspire S5

Importantly, triple monitors in addition to my laptop worked on Windows 10 but not on 11. I am able to connect a monitor to my laptop via the HDMI input. However, when i connect a second monitor. the second monitor flickers between black and the desktop. I attempted the following the resolve this with no luck:

1. Uninstalling and reinstalling the video adapter
2. Running all windows and driver updates
3. Running all monitor updates
