Hi guys, my wife and I ordered a new spin 5 from the Acer website 4 months ago, and we have experienced an issue...
Yesterday the laptop stopped charging, nothing bad was happening before, no issues whatsoever. I have tried everything that i know possibly from reinstalling the battery drivers, unplugging the battery and plugging it back in, using a reset button with a needle on the back, the battery is ok as it's working for now, until it drains, don't own a voltmeter to check the cord itself but both type-c thunderbolt ports are not responding to the charger, has anyone had any similar issue with this?  I am currently looking at recent windows updates in hope that we don't have to send the machine back for a while as she needs it for studying...Thanks

Power related problems could be from numerous things and could progress into a none working laptop due to and because of internal circuitries and/or components that are either shorted out and/or could be faulty, these are all very complex and interrelated circuitries that could be the cause(s) and need analysing with electronic diagnostic equipment that a consumer doesn't have. Remember, your Spin 5 513-55N is under warranty “Don’t Open It and/or Touch it” as it will void your warranty, send it back to Acer and let the Acer technicians fix these power issues problem(s) as allowing this problem to persist could cause more damage and to an inoperative laptop.
