Hi guys,

I have an acer aspire 3 and I accidentally applied a lot of pressure onto my touchpad and I can’t get it to work anymore. Everything else is working fine.

I’ve tried going into BIOS and enabling the touchpad but that didn’t work out for me. Would anyone have a solution to get it work again or is it most likely broken to the point I’m going to have to get it fixed?

Thanks for any answers.

Ok usually this kinda happens to most people but on your keyboard check if there is a button that shows a TouchPad with this sign with it 🚫. If your laptop has it that means once you press it your TouchPad won't work and for it to work you will need to click that same button again. After clicking that button you might be able to use your TouchPad again.

Maybe @Andrewl means the F7 ( or Fn+F7) on the keyboard. Try it if you have that.
