SF314-42-R9YN Does battery calibration complete on Acer care center?

Does the Acer care center ever show a "calibration complete message?"

Battery initially charged to 100%, then discharged to below 10% while still plugged in, and then recharged back to 100%.

It has been on 100% for over 6 hours at the time of posting, and the ACC is still showing calibrating with an X for cancelling next to it.

Do I continue waiting until it shows complete (and approximately how long does it take) or is the calibration complete at this point and I should cancel?

Battery calibration requires that you run without power connected, then charge without running after it shut down due to low battery. It will never complete as long as you have the charger connected.

Battery calibration is able to run with charger on using Acer Care center. It charges to 100 and discharges to 3% with the charger on.

It then starts to charge back to 100.

    That's essentially how calibration works.

But after getting to 100 it didn't indicate completed after several hours.

The message before starting calibration even points out that calibration will be cancelled if charger is disconnected.

I already spent over 15 hours calibrating. the solution shouldn't be running it again.

Kindly go through the actual steps you went through from start to finish when calibrating with Acer care center.

Coz on my end, it said I shouldn't disconnect to power

I don't know what Acer Care Center itself does. My suggestion involves using Windows to calibrate the battery, and that requires the discharge cycle to actually be discharging due to the charger not being connected.
