I've looked at other threads with the same issue, I've tried the following fix:

"In Windows 10, open Settings > System > Power & Sleep > Additional Power Settings > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings. Go down to "Multimedia settings", and for "When sharing media", for "plugged in", change it to "Allow the computer to sleep"."
-But the problem persists.
I read some threads on this forum regarding BIOS updates, but the threads were from 2018 so the specific BIOS versions discussed are by now out of date. Updating BIOS seems like a daunting task as well.
Was hoping there is newer information about hot to fix this issue, it is seriously compromising my productivity to have to hard restart this machine several times per day and any time I am away from the machine for more than a few minutes.
Below is system and BIOS information.

Thanks in advance,

Is it sleeping when you are using it or when it goes idle? And if its when idle, by any chance have you linked your phone with bluetooth?

It's also feasible that one of your apps just doesn't play well with others... If it doesn't handle sleep well, it might block waking since it's not finished going to sleep yet.

Hello, Leostat, thank you for the ideas! It goes idle when I am away, always when I'm not looking at it, lol. I have not linked my phone to it, or at least not my current iphone, but I did have my old android hooked up to it- not by bluetooth. NO worries about any UK links! I can understand a bit of UK English as well!

-That's interesting. I will try and look into that. I can tell you that if I catch it right away, it WILL wake up, and I don't know how long it takes for the point of no return, but anything longer than a minute and it will not. Maybe I'll look at things I've installed earlier as the problem has been here for some time, though seems to be getting worse. I wonder if it's something physical- like dust or dirt in it.
