There is 2 current problem I'm trying to fix. its a Swift 3 AMD laptop:

1) I cant seem to turn off the beep sound when pluging or unplugging the adapter.
I tried many different way to do it based on what I searched from Google, but most settings that was shown in google is not shown in mine. I tried different ways like going to my BIOS, or using the CMD, but none of it worked

2) My brightness would increase or decrease at random times
Same situation from my first problem, the setting just doesn't exist in my laptop.

I don't believe it's possible to turn off that beep. Do you have the brightness set to automatic?

Which model of Swift 3 do you have? It should be something like SF3xx-xxx-xxxx.
Typically Adaptive brightness is in Settings; Display with a check mark next to "Change brightness automatically when lighting changes".

    Hi Squeeks,

    Disable the Beep device:
    1. Open "Device Manager".
    2. Go to "View" > "Show hidden devices".
    3. Scroll down to "Non-Plug and Play Drivers".
    4. Click on "+"
    5. Right click on "Beep".
    6. Select "Disable"
    7. Restart your computer.

OK, with your model does the screen brightness change with F3/F4 or Fn-F3/Fn-F4? I don't think the AMD based versions had adaptive brightness, so that would explain why the functions isn't there.

F3 lowers the brightness, F4 increased the brightness. No need to press Fn

When in failure mode, can you still use the F3 and F4 to adjust the brightness, and does it adjust based on current (incorrect) brightness or the original settings?

Im not sure whats a failure mode, but it adjust based on the current incorrect brightness.

The failure mode is when the laptop is acting up by modifying the brightness for you. Since it's adjusting based on current brightness instead of the last setting that tells us the issue isn't likely to be hardware, instead there is something adjusting that value. Try a test by covering the camera so it no longer can see the ambient light changing and see if it still happens.

I covered up the camera (and the extra dots near the camera just in case those matters) and used it for hours, but nothing changed. The brightness still adjust itself time to time
