Shorted the Audio/Aux board, Realtek speakers & microphone not working Nitro AN515-54

Around May 2021 I decided that it was a "fantastic" idea to insert a 2.5mm DC charging cable into the aux port of my Acer Nitro AN515-54. The screen instantly turned black and was unresponsive, so I had to hard reset the laptop. Once I did that, it returned to normal with no problems except that the built in Realtek speakers no longer worked. The aux port also stopped working. External audio outputs via bluetooth and USB work perfectly fine though, and that's what I've been using this whole time to have sound come out of my laptop.

Here are a few things that I've already tried to fix this issue:

-I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Realtek audio driver, and nothing happened. I came to my own conclusion that this wasn't the case because this seems more like a hardware thing than a software thing, plus the fact that audio on the computer was working with USB and bluetooth devices. I've also attempted to uninstall and reinstall the driver in safe mode, but couldn't figure out how to stay in safe mode consistently throughout the restart process of the installwizard.

-Replace the audio board that the aux was on (the input/output board that has the aux and one USB 2.0 input). As of yesterday night there is now a brand new audio board in this laptop, but the problem is still here with nothing new fixed. This leads me to believe that the problem could either be the Realtek speakers and microphone themselves, or it could be a problem somewhere on the motherboard...

Any help or insight on my peculiar situation is greatly appreciated.

The Audio Chip might might be gone, not the Aux, USB board. You might have to take to a shop that can fixes motherboard. Or you might have to change the whole motherboard.
