Hi,

There's no option to extend the warranty of my laptop when I sign in with my acer account despite having registered the product when I first got it last year.

And the US website doesn't allow me to enter my SNID to purchase it there either, any help for UK users? thanks

Please follow the details to buy the extended warranty..

If your laptop is in warranty you can contact the warranty dept.     Go to the website support.acer.com - chose your country.   On the new page - scroll down -  click on "contact support".  Scroll down.  You can find the phone no to contact the warranty dept.

Please visit the website - support.acer.com - chose your country - click on shop.   On the top right corner you can find the phone no to contact Acer store.

Click on "Like" if you find my answer useful

Click on "Yes" if it answers your question.

Please click YES if I answered your question

So you can only extend it via calling, rather than doing the process online?

The website is very clunky and difficult to navigate

I agree about the website being rather clunky, with some links being dead pages 404 error.

^ here is contact ticket page, I sent one and got standard will reply back within 48 hrs email.  Still waiting nothing back 60 hrs later. This community site is better for responses.  I clicked to send them email then had to input product details and was still directed to a ticket to input the same things again.

^ live chat (unavailable when I tried)

    Hi Easwar,

I'm not the OP with the warranty problem, mine is expired. Just posting what links I saw on acer website.

It was determined on my thread here that my problem was the screen, acer finally got back to me this evening with no help at all to find out cause or ask what has been tried so far to find or solve problem, they just want me to send laptop in to acer for repair, if i do that they can dictate and charge what they want, holding me to ransom cos it will cost to get it back even if I don't want the repair.

I appreciate the help on this community forum, but acer website support are rubbish.

Interesting that the US site at Extended Service Plans returns a similar error message each time I attempt to enter the SN or SNID...

"Something went wrong, please try again later."

I've emailed the company via their web site at Contact Us | Acer but I'm not inspired with confidence as there's Lorem Ipsum text on the page and apparent boilerplate language on the site:

@GipsyJaeger to extend warranty in the UK you have to buy a package from the shop just make sure you get the compatible for you model as it was already mentioned above also if you get 3 years for ex you only get 2 because the first that comes with the laptop its deducted from the package as its already being used this is the one i got when i got mine in 2018 as you can see the first year its the ITW already included with all devices so you only gonna have 2 extra years from the package
