Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-56T5 on Windows 10, can't remember if I got it September of 2018 or 2019 (so it's at least 2 years old). When plugging the cord in, the laptop charges for a few minutes (it makes the plug-in sound), then stops (orange & blue LED both start blinking) so then I unplug it and then plug it back in (it makes the plug-in sound once more) and the cycle repeats. What could be the cause of this? I'm guessing the age of the laptop has something to with it (something must be worn down) as this issue only occurred recently. A hardware issue?

You battery may need to be replaced. Open Device Manager. Click batteries folder. Right click and uninstall ALL drivers you find in this folder. Exit Device Manager without reinstalling anything. Shut Windows down normally. Turn machine back on an let Windows automatically refresh the drivers. Re-test.
