Is there anyway to get more than a refund for equal value for my Nitro 5?

I first got my Nitro 5 (nvidia 2060, i7-10750h, 16gb) on the first day of this year, everything was fine until it wasn't. It wouldn't keep its' charge and previously well-running games weren't even running at 1 fps. It was basically impossible to use and because of a strict "no charging" rule at my school and work is reliant on the use of a laptop, let's just say, it made doing work near impossible. As mentioned in my previous question, it lasted as much as 1hr and 30 mins, comparing that to the initial 8 or more hours it used to last it was appalling.
Contacted Acer, was told nothing was wrong with my battery, and them wanting to leave it there. Obviously, something was wrong so I had to contact them another few times, discussing that it would be sent in to get inspected. I, still having to have a laptop to use for school, couldn't send it off as my only other device available was a chromebook which isn't allowed to be used.
After the holidays started, I decided to send it off as that would be the best time, having 3 weeks and all where a laptop wasn't necessary. It was sent on the 1/7/21 and was received by them on the 2/7/21.
Obviously, by now, it is way past that date, more than a month and I've been back at school online for the past 3 weeks. Throughout when it was sent and to this day, I received no updates from their end, having to call them myself to figure out what was happening. There was a problem with the battery and motherboard, both having to be replaced. They had a spare battery available but were having to order in the motherboard.
Today I got a phone call, informing me to send back all accessories that came with the device and I would be able to get a new laptop (I'm not sure though whether it is a refund or exchange, I'll call them back to confirm that). But with that, I am assuming I will get it from the same provider I originally purchased it from, and I've noticed another Nitro laptop for sale from there, basically the same but with a 3060 which is a better graphics card than the one I had previously, only $100 more than the price I paid for my laptop. Would there be any way to try and get that one instead as on top of being without the laptop for over a month, I will continue to be without one until they receive my accessories back? Additionally, in those months I still had the laptop, it ran poorly and the feature of it being a gaming laptop wasn't one I was being able to use. Even Minecraft couldn't run. Now in the month I have been without it I have had to be using a 5 year old chromebook which isn't handling the workload very well, even typing this out is very laggy.

tl;dr In a refund or exchange, can I get a laptop whose value is $100 more than my laptop cost?

Firstly Alfonsiasorry that you have had this problem with your Acer product as its not common! Remember, Acer is fulfilling their warranty agreement and duties 100% for you, they are not retailers and they can only replace the exact spec Nitro 5 laptop that you have given to them they have no other obligations and is in the warranty agreement. The Nitro 5 with the 2060 GPU and the i7-10750H CPU and with 16GB memory is a great laptop and its very unfortunate that this fine laptop (btw, I’m also using and never ever had your problems as its not common) you had problems with, wait be patient until Acer replaces your laptop! The only other thing that you can do is contact Acer and find out? Good luck and hope this has been of some help to you.
