Fn + F4 for Sleep doesn't work on Aspire 5

The F1-F12 are predefined keys for brightness, volume, and so on. When I press Fn + F2 for renaming files or Fn + F5 for refresh, they work, but, when I try Fn + F4 for sleep (as I used to do with my previous Aspire E15), it does not work on my new Aspire 5. Any way to get this keyboard shortcut for sleep to work?

Try F4 alone without the FN key.

    Hi thesreejaghosh,

    Try to do power drain,

    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Unplug the charger.
    3. At the bottom there will be a tiny pin hole with battery sign close to it take a pin or paper clip and insert into it hold that button for 20-30 seconds. Then turn ON the unit and check.
