Press and hold power button for at least 5 seconds or until the laptop shuts off. Then remove charger. Then insert paperclip into reset pinhole on the bottom for about 30 seconds. Then plug the charger back in but wait till the battery charge LED turns from steady orange to steady blue. This may take time depending on the battery charge level or battery health. When the battery LED turns blue, then try to turn the machine on again.

Do a battery reset with a suitable pin at the base of the laptop first or take the battery out, then boot the laptop by pressing the F2 key to get into the BIOS, then go to the “Boot” section and make sure that your boot drive is at the 1st “Boot priority order” then go to “Exit” and “Load Setup Defaults” and reboot. If this problem persists then try to reset the BIOS by taking out the CMOS battery.

Firstly, you may check if there are any external devices connecting to the laptop. Remove all of them (including removable battery if it has), and then run a hard reset, only connecting AC adapter and power to the laptop.

Or, if you have a Windows repair disc, you may try running Automatic Repair to fix issues related to system.
    See detailed info here.
