To preface this, a week ago I got a warning saying that my SSD was at risk. I did some searching and whatever I found was either a bunch of really overwhelming technical stuff I didn't understand or what chalked it down to "false alarm." I got CrystalDiskInfo and Samsung Magician to check its health; CrystalDiskInfo showed everything as being fine, while Samsung couldn't even find it. I just left it alone, and now when I look at it, it says it's all working normally.
A few days after that, I started having issues with my charger. It would say it wasn't charging even though I had it plugged in, and I would have to move it around a bit for it to start charging again. Chargers do this sometimes, whatever.
Now my computer is shutting off randomly. It seems like I have to move my charger into a specific position for it to turn on because I've tried with it unplugged, and it won't work. There's no telling when it's going to shut off next. Yesterday I timed how long it stayed up once before shutting off, and got 15 minutes. After turning it back on, it didn't even stay up for a minute before shutting off again. I only had PredatorSense open. Possibly unrelated is that every time it starts up, it plays the startup sound. I have had this turned off since I got the computer. Even if I toggle it in PredatorSense, it will turn back on when it reboots after shutting off.
I'm using it to type this now, and it's been on for almost 30 minutes with no interruptions.
Could it be related to the initial warning for my SSD, the battery, or something entirely different?
